1985 BMW 325e E30 BMW – $18,500
I have for sale, what started out as a 2 owner 1985 BMW 325e E30 BMW. The car was in very good condition with absolutely zero rust. The car was bought from Critz BMW out of Savannah. Since I bought the car, I immediately started replacing almost every single component, bushing, seal, and fluid in the car. I have a book of every receipt dating back to the original purchase in 1985. In 2016, I purchased a rear ended 1997 Automatic E36 M3 with 140,xxx miles, to be the donor engine for the car. I also purchased a BMW Mtech1 replica body kit with authentic OEM BMW euro bumpers to get rid of the large diving board bumpers. The Mtech1 kit is molded from the original OEM BMW kit and is made of flexible resin fiberglass. This will give the kit an ability to flex and twist without cracking, unlike old school fiberglass body kits. After the car was meticulously put together, I had the whole car repainted in original Polaris2 body color. The car was completely disassembled, removing all the trim, bumpers, glass, windshields, hood, trunk etc to get the best paint job possible. Although the car is not SEMA show quality it is a very good example and sure turns heads.

FREE Windscreen — fits ’08 to ’13 1 Series convertible.
This is a genuine BMW part that sells new for well over $300. It was given to me by a neighbor who now has a 2 Series convertible! The hope was I could find someone who could use it since I already owned a windscreen. It fits and works perfectly and is very easy to “install” and remove.
However, It does have a couple of cosmetic flaws—both on the lower portion of the screen. The lower frame is a bit warped and there is a small tear in the fabric. Neither of these flaws is noticeable unless you are standing next to the car. It looks totally perfect otherwise…particularly to passing traffic. Will give to CCA member who has the requisite 1 Series. Serious inquiries only. Contact Tom Jelinek e-mail.
Will arrange to meet in the Seneca or Clemson area.
2003 E46 BMW M3
Six Speed Manual
(Originally an SMG car converted to six speed)
Harmon Kardon Audio
Over $9000 in mechanical, maintenance, and cosmetic reconditioning all completed within the last year by a certified BMW euro shop located in Columbia, SC.
This car was originally a factory SMG transmission car. SMG failures are common on these cars, can be difficult to diagnose, and expensive to repair. Having purchased the car with a faulty SMG pump system($4000 from BMW) we decided to convert the car over to a traditional 6 speed manual and eliminate any future SMG failures. The conversion option is very common choice in these situations.
The conversion began with removal of all SMG system parts. Followed by removal of the transmission bell housing which was shipped to a BMW performance shop, Performance Technic, in California. The bell housing was machined to match the factory 6 speed manual housing, returned, and fitted back to the factory transmission. The transmission was then reinstalled.
A factory 6 speed shifter, clutch, and associated mechanical components were installed. The final step in the process was to program the car DME(computer)to match the factory 6 six speed configuration. The car is now a fully functional manual 6 speed M3.

This car looks great, runs great, and is a blast to drive. It still needs a few things and is not perfect, as it is indeed 14 years old. For an enthusiast who is looking for a car that they can drive and enjoy this would be a perfect option. The car needs nothing to be enjoyed. I believe this is a wonderful example of an iconic and arguably one of the best M3 examples BMW has ever produced.
