Sandlapper Social Media Communicator

The Sandlapper BMW CCA chapter hosts multiple events throughout the year, and we are looking for a volunteer to help share those moments with our members and community.

The Social Media Communicator will help post photos and short videos from chapter events across Facebook and Instagram so members can stay connected and see how events unfold throughout the Sandlapper region.

Responsibilities

Check the Sandlapper social media database for new event photos and videos every 24 to 48 hours.
Retrieve photos and videos from the centralized Sandlapper database.
Crop or lightly edit photos when needed.
Send videos to the chapter’s editing resource with instructions, if video editing is needed.
Post approved photos and videos to the Sandlapper business page and the appropriate regional page within 24 to 48 hours of receiving them.

Ideal Volunteer

This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable using Facebook and Instagram, has a good eye for photos, and enjoys helping the chapter communicate with members.

No professional social media experience is required. We are mainly looking for someone reliable, responsive, and willing to help keep our members informed and engaged.
